What we keep, why and for how long. The data controller and their contact details will be added before the official launch.
Visit statistics
Only if you accept it do we load Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to count visits. It uses cookies and sends details of the visit (pages, device, approximate location) to Google. We do not use it for advertising. If you do not accept it, nothing is loaded from Google: the fonts and images are served from this website.
What stays only on your device
The topics and outlets you follow, your saved stories, ‘My reading’ and your choice about cookies are stored only in your browser and do not reach us. My reading.
For the daily edition we keep only the address, its status and the version of the consent; addresses that are not confirmed are deleted after 7 days, and unsubscribing from the list deletes the address. For outlets’ appeals we keep the email only until we reply. Messages are sent through Mailtrap.
