Support Kalypsi
Kalypsi is free for everyone and not for profit. It publishes no advertising, has no subscriptions, sells no readers' data and takes no state advertising. It is run by a private person; there is no company and there are no shareholders.
What it costs
The main cost is the AI: the cited summaries, their checks, the headline comparisons and the English edition.
| Month | AI | Donations | Donors |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 2026 | $140.87 | — | — |
Where donations go
First to the cost of the AI, then to the other running costs. Anything left over stays for the following months. Each month we publish here and on the Transparency page what we received and what we spent.
What a donation never buys
Any influence. Donors do not see in advance or change ratings, summaries, the choice of stories or the blindspots, and get no privileges. The method is public and the same for everyone. The method.
Whom we take no money from
Parties and politicians, governments and public bodies, and the media we rate, their owners and their companies. Donors of more than €5,000 a year are named on the Transparency page; anyone who does not accept that does not give more than that amount.
Your details
You pay on the provider's page, not on Kalypsi, and we never see card details. The provider tells us the amount and, if you choose, your name and email; we use them only to record the donation and to thank you. We publish no names of donors under €5,000 a year. Privacy.
Tax
Kalypsi is not a legal entity or a registered non-profit organisation. Donations come with no certificate for tax relief.
