Jewellery, family heirlooms and money were taken by unknown persons from an elderly woman in Volos on Wednesday 4 November.[1]
The perpetrators asked for her mobile phone number, in order to connect her with an alleged director of DEDDIE, who warned her of a risk of explosion due to a current leak.[2]

Η πραγματική κόρη εμφανίστηκε 10 λεπτά αργότερα και η ηλικιωμένη κατέρρευσε.[3]
Η τοπική Αστυνομία διερευνά την υπόθεση και 15 ημέρες νωρίτερα είχε σημειωθεί παρόμοια απάτη στον Βόλο.[2]
