Why

• The tone towards the government is negative (−0.49, n=41), while towards the opposition it is positive (+0.48, n=25). The mean slant is −0.78 (n=23), and 18 of the 23 articles with a slant judgement are classed as left (−1 or −2), against 4 right.
• The author describes the government's strategy in his own voice as “mud” and mocks the prime minister.
• Figures opposed to the government are presented with charged headlines that go beyond the text. Laliotou “crushes the accusations of Maximos”, and her claim is reproduced without quotation marks.
