What is happening

What the sources report

At midday on Thursday (29/10) in the centre of Serres, an open-type elevator fell into the basement of a shop, and two women were injured.[1]

The accident occurred on Komninon Street, under circumstances that remain unclear.[1]

Two EKAB ambulances and three Fire Service vehicles rushed to the scene.[2]

No rescue operation was needed, and both injured women remained conscious during transport to Serres Hospital.[2]

According to thestival.gr, the lift contained the 56-year-old owner of the shop and a 29-year-old woman, and their lives are not in danger.[3]
