Η Καθημερινή γράφει ότι στην Ελλάδα οι αιτήσεις για ηλεκτρική ισχύ για data centers ξεπερνούν αθροιστικά τα 12 GW.[3]

Σύμφωνα με το TheBest.gr, η κατασκευή νέων εγκαταστάσεων ασκεί πίεση στα ηλεκτρικά δίκτυα.[4]

Το Dnews προσθέτει ότι η Microsoft και η Google συμφώνησαν εθελοντικά με την αμερικανική κυβέρνηση να χρηματοδοτήσουν οι ίδιες την ενέργεια και τις αναβαθμίσεις υποδομών για τις εγκαταστάσεις τους.[1]
