The contract for the cable section of the Corinth – Kos electricity interconnection is expected to be signed within the next few days.[1]
The development was announced by ADMIE deputy chairman Ioannis Margaris at the 9th Athens Investment Forum.[1]
In the immediate future, the signing of contracts for the 2 billion euro framework agreement for submarine cables is also expected, for 150 kV interconnections in the Dodecanese and the northern Aegean.[2]
The second evaluation phase of the Converter Stations for the same project is also moving forward.[2]
For the second Greece-Italy interconnection, the environmental impact study will be submitted in the coming weeks and tenders will start in summer 2027.[2]
