French justice investigates possible war crimes by Israel in Lebanon after bombing

Two French judges are investigating possible war crimes committed by the Israeli army in Lebanon, after a judicial inquiry was opened in Paris into a bombing that killed seven civilians.[1]

Among the dead were the 87-year-old father and 77-year-old mother of the artist, who were killed on 26 November 2024 when their 12-storey apartment building was bombed in the Nueiri neighbourhood in central Beirut.[1]
