Skaramangas Shipyards completed the drydocking, repair and Special Survey work on the ship "Maran Gas Amphipolis", owned by Maran Gas Maritime of the Angelikousis group.[1]

Πρόκειται για το πρώτο πλοίο μεταφοράς υγροποιημένου φυσικού αερίου (LNG carrier) που επισκευάζεται σε ελληνικό ναυπηγείο.[2]

Το έργο περιλάμβανε και αδρανοποίηση της δεξαμενής LNG με άζωτο.[3]

Με την ολοκλήρωση του έργου, τα ναυπηγεία ανακοινώνουν ότι πιστοποιήθηκαν από τη γαλλική GTT (Gaztransport & Technigaz) ως GTT Approved Repair Yard.[2]

Το πλοίο έχει ελληνική σημαία, ναυπηγήθηκε το 2016, έχει μήκος 295 μέτρα και ολική χωρητικότητα 113.037 GT.[2]
