Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited Megalopoli on Thursday 5 November and attended the signing of the programme contract for the construction of a new correctional facility.[1]
The budget of the store amounts to 40 million euros, funded by the Special Programme for Just Development Transition 2021-2027, and it will be built on an area of 124 stremmata within the lignite phase-out zone.[2]
