The Board of Directors of listed company Alter Ego Media approved on 5 November the plans to demerge two divisions and contribute them to two wholly owned (100%) subsidiaries, MEGA Broadcasting and Alter Ego Studios.[1]

The production and content development division and the exploitation of the MEGA film archive will be transferred to Alter Ego Studios.[2]

Στη MEGA Broadcasting θα μεταφερθεί ο κλάδος τηλεοπτικής ευρυεκπομπής του MEGA και η παροχή λοιπών υπηρεσιών οπτικοακουστικών μέσων.[2]

Σύμφωνα με τον Οικονομικό Ταχυδρόμο, η αναδιοργάνωση αποτελεί μέρος του μετασχηματισμού της Alter Ego Media από παραδοσιακό όμιλο μέσων ενημέρωσης σε οικοσύστημα Media & Entertainment.[1]
