Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on Sunday, in his weekly review of the government's work, that Greece and Cyprus are licensing survey work for the Crete – Cyprus cable.[1]
On Friday the permit for survey and cable-laying work for the interconnector (Great Sea Interconnector, GSI) was issued, along with the relevant navtex.[1]
As he said, the project has been designated a project of common European interest, and French companies are taking part.[1]
For borrowers, from 1 December, vulnerable borrowers and eligible debtors under the out-of-court mechanism will have a fixed interest rate of 3%.[2]
He also referred to the US midterm elections, which changed the political balance in both chambers of Congress.[3]
